We are probably no more than 100-150 feet away from the summit peak of Mt McKinley, with surrounding mountain tops sticking out above the clouds.

Pilot Steve had intended to land on the glacier and give us a chance to get out and explore, but weather conditions didnít agree. Clearance was too low, cross winds were too high, too much uncertainty.
