Waterfront in the small port town of Oban in the Argyll and Bute region of Scotland. The town and the ferry port making a great jumping off point for exploring the Hebrides Islands.
Looking west from the waterfront in Oban. Afternoon sun and rain clouds over Bach Island, with the Isle of Mull in the background.
Our guest house in Oban. Greystones was built in the 1860's and sits high on the hillside overlooking the port and the bay. "High on the hillside" -- good for views, not so good for walking back from town each evening :(
